5 - Villain Psychology

“All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.” - Alan Moore

Funny, isn't it? How one silly quote from a fictional story can sometimes turn into reality. Yes, you might've not noticed it yet, but in real life, we turn into something that even ourselves can't comprehend to understand. We become someone who we hate. Anything is possible and anything is achievable in this world, it may be for our own good or for the good of other people. We easily judge other people on what they did or on what they have become. We can sometimes see villains in ourselves, it may sound fictional, but we can relate to them in ways we don't even notice.

First of all, What is a villain? a villain is someone who abuses, corrupts and destroys the law. A villain  is someone who is cruel and wicked, most of them are driven by vengeance, selfishness, wrath, and jealousy.

I talk about these people not because of what they do or because they fascinate us but because we can put ourselves into their shoes, to feel and experience their trepidatious past. Villains see views and perspectives of other people differently, they think that the only way to achieve happiness is in doing what they do, to only think of themselves rather than other people.

Why so serious?

In the same concept of reality and actualism, it is the truth about life nowadays. We only see what benefits ourselves, and for me, It is the first step to lunacy. Why? because it pleases us, it will eat us up and we will do more of these so called "Selfish ways". Think about it, we've all felt the same, the only thing blocking us from lunacy is ourselves.

All it takes is one bad day to drive us crazy.
